The Streets - A Grand Don't Come For Free - I don't particularly like his voice. I don't particularly like his beats. But the whole thing sucked me right in. Very compelling.
Radiohead - Hail to the Thief - Verses from the abstract, in the anti-bush canon. How many times do you listen to it before you look up "myxomatosis?" But after I looked it up I was more confused than ever.
Ted Leo/Pharmacists - Shake the Streets - The definitive anti-bush record. It will speak to you. But it must be enjoyed live. Just not big enough on record.
